Spider-Man - The McFarlane Era

Here are the first comics I ever bought - a six-part Spiderman - Kraven Saga. Incidentally.
The covers captured my imagination - it was the first time I ever saw the black spidey costume, by pure chance in a convenience store. The set is fairly well-written and the artwork is solid.
This was an exciting time in Spiderman comicdom:
[1] It immediately follows Spidey's marriage to MJ.,
[2] It immediately preceded first-ever introduction of Venom and
[3] It immediately preceded Todd McFarlane's 2+ year stint revolutionizing Spiderman art.
